Samantha Dagestad has been passionate about interior design since she was a teenager. After watching just one episode of Candice Olson’s Devine Design, the impact that good design could make on someone’s life inspired her to live a life as a designer.

After finishing design school at Alexandria Community and Technical College, Samantha worked at a cabinet showroom for a decade, honing all the skills she needed to design gorgeous and functional kitchens and bathrooms. During this time she realized that although kitchens and bathrooms are some of the most important rooms in a home, all the other rooms could use some love and purpose too!

With a little push from her husband, Samantha’s passion drove her to found Loudan Studio with a vision of creating inspired spaces that allow people to fully embrace each moment through organic and practical designs. What began as a side project, became a full-time business.
